Prairie Home R-V Board meeting held July 16

The Prairie Home R-V Board of Education met Wednesday, July 16, for regular session. Old business items discussed included the plan to pour the foundation for a bus barn with help from the community, which means finding a time when everyone can be brought together to do it. Also discussed was the new driveway entrances.

The annual California High School Pinto Football Camp was held last week, July 21-24, at Riley Field, where approximately 52 boys in grades 9-12 were in attendance.

Wizards participate in 14U USSSA World Series in Kansas

The Wizards 14U baseball team, which consists of many local players, participated in the 14U USSSA World Series in Lenexa, Kan., for five days, where they ultimately lost the championship game 3-0.
