The annual Jamestown Lions Club Labor Day Celebration will be held Friday, Aug. 29 through Monday, Sept. 1, at the Jamestown Lions Club Park. Activities on the agenda for the holiday weekend are as follows.

The American Cancer Society 14th Annual Relay For Life of Moniteau County was held Friday-Saturday at the Moniteau County Fairgrounds, California, where people of all ages came together to raise funds to help fight cancer, to celebrate those who have survived it, and to help those currently battling the disease. The theme for this year's event was "Family. Fun. Fight Back."
