Now here is a community project to really be proud of. Thanks Allan and all who helped.
Good to see brother-in-law Charlie hard at it.
Only the best of the best can join the "Thunderbirds". Congratulations Sergeant Hall. Proud of my fellow noncommissioned officer. Very disappointing that they have been grounded.
Larry Hume, Chief Master Sergeant, USAF (Retired)
Curt Baker was my summer league baseball coach about 1959 - 60. He gave me my first experience behind the plate catching. Thanks to my hometown VFW Post for honoring his service.
Congratulations to my home town seniors.
David and Marilyn so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.
Another of our "Greatest Generation". Thank you for your service Lt. Cmdr Dietzel. You and the 16 million men and women who served in World War II truly saved the world. How I wish that World War II patriotism was alive today.
Rita should be an inspiration to us all.
Paul was a really good guy. His tavern was the hangout for many of us high school boys, 1959 - 1961. Loved his chili and cheesburgers. We shot pool and snooker, played pin ball and just generally goofed around. Every once in awhile he would run us out but always welcomed us back. Also enjoyed his establishment as an adult. There were a lot of characters that frequented "Rollies". He will be missed.
Condolences to the family. John was another member of that "greatest generation" that served during World War II. I'm proud to have known and be related to John.
