California Lady Pinto Hoops Association hosts eighth annual golf tourne

The California High School Lady Pinto Hoops Association hosted its annual golf tournament fundraiser Friday, Aug. 12, at the California Country Club, where a total of 19 teams of three participated.

The event consisted of three flights: Championship, A and B.

In the Champioship Flight, the first place winners were Caitlin Deeken, Abby Spieler and Jim Deeken with 57. Second place, C.H. Kusgen, Dale Bax and Grant Oliver with 60; and third place, Blake Koetting, Tom Volkart and Mike Volkart with 62.

In the A Flight, there was a tie for first place and third place. In the tie for first place with 67 was the team of Steve Kusgen, Rick Wehmeyer and Tyler Imhoff, and the team of Kevin Schnieders, Tom Shimmens and Frank Higgins. In the tie for third place with 68 was the team of Eddie Blankenship, Bill Blankenship and Don George, and the team of Roy Wood, Kenny Tuttle and

Jim Tuttle.
