Money raised at the Moniteau County DU chapter event has funded reclamation and restoration of more than 250 acres of wetlands. At the fundraising portion, a variety of items were auctioned, including art works (paintings, prints, sculptures and carvings), home furnishing items, weaponry (firearms, air rifles and knives) and miscellaneous items with the DU emblem. Funds from drawings and games also contributed to the money raised.
