Russellville wins Eugene Invitational

Russellville's varsity girls golf team participated in the Eugene Invitational Sept. 18 at Redfield Golf Course, where the Lady Indians captured a win with a team score of 358.

Russellville's Mikala Jungmeyer was the medalist with a 78. Kelsey Scrimpf placed third with 84; Madison Oliver shot a 97 to place fifth; Maddy Bungart shot a 99 to place sixth; and Chantz Grellner shot 130.

The Lady Indians participated in a match at Sedalia Sept. 23, where Russellville placed second with 185.

Schrimpf and Jungmeyer led Russellville with 41 each. Oliver followed with 48; Bungart 55; and Grellner 64.

Russellville hosted a match Friday at the Eldon Country Club, where the Lady Indians finished in second place with 189. Helias won with 182. New Bloomfield finished third with 207, followed by Eldon with 255.

Schrimpf was the medalist with a 39. Jungmeyer finished in a tie for third place with 42. Oliver shot a 52; Bungart a 56; and Grellner 57.

The Lady Indians participated in the Capital City Invitational Monday at the Jefferson City Country Club, where Ruussellville placed seventh with a team score of 393.

Schrimpf led Russellville with 89 to finish 14th individually. Jungmeyer placed 15th with a 90. Oliver shot a 99, Bungart a 115, and Grellner 121.
