Five members of the California High School varsity track team competed at the MSHSAA Class 3 State Track Championships Friday-Saturday (May 30-31) at Dwight T. Reed Stadium, Jefferson City, where junior Nathan Squires garnered All-State honors as he placed seventh in the Shot Put event Saturday with 50'6.25". (The top eight finishers at the state championships are All-State.)
Junior Dylan Norton competed in the 110 Meter Hurdles and 300 Meter Hurdles Friday. He finished 14th in the 110 Meter Hurdles with 16.52, and placed 12th in the 300 Meter Hurdles with 41.66.
The team of senior Dylan Albertson, junior Benigno Corona, senior Conner George and Norton competed in the 4x400 Meter Relay Friday, where they placed 14th with 3:29.08.
