The City of California is in the process of searching for people to interview to fill three positions. Two of the positions are with the City Electric Department and one is with the Sanitation Department. One of the Electric Department positions and the Sanitation Department position are open at this time. The second Electric Department position will be opening after the end of the year.
The California Board of Aldermen met Monday, July 12, to discuss job requirements. After discussion, the council decided that City of California Department Supervisors may reside up to five miles outside the city limits.
