The grand opening of Oak Street Treasures - Antiques and Gifts - was held Thursday, through Saturday, May 7-9, with customers and browsers offered refreshments of lemonade and cookies.
The business offers a wide variety of furniture, paintings, framed prints, all kinds types of glassware,ceramics, pottery, quilts, linens and rugs. There are even a number of old but like new seat cushions, children's books, old agricultural implements and tools.
A couple of sections have items offered by other collectors and dealers. In addition, shop owner Ana Hendrix will accept consignment items as space becomes available in the 1,200 square foot shop.
Hendrix previously was proprietor of an antique and collectible business a few miles south of Jamestown.
Regular business hours of Oak Street Treasures are Tuesday - Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
