A University of Missouri Extension Master Gardener Course will be held in Versailles starting Sept. 28.
One will receive 30 hours of instruction in plant growth, flowers, woody ornamentals, turf, vegetables, fruits, soils, insects, disease prevention and landscaping. Training is taught by MU Extension specialists and other qualified professionals.
The course will be held at the Morgan County Extension Office, Sims Meeting Room, located on the fourth floor of the Morgan County Courthouse, Versailles.
Ten sessions are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Thursday evenings and will last approximately three hours each. The course is limited to 25 people and a fee does apply.
Pre-registration deadline is Sept. 22.
