April election filings closed

Filing closed Jan. 16 for the April municipal elections. Some of those up for election are listed below.

School board candidates

California Moniteau R-I candidates - Jeremiah Ranow, Brandon Dunham, Allison Kruger and Brad McCord. Current board members Paul Bloch and Jay VanDieren are not running, leaving two seats up for election.

High Point Moniteau R-III candidates - Incumbent Ricky Percival, William "Will" Wright, Beth Hale and Amanda Barbour are running for the two seats up for election.

Russellville Cole R-1 candidates - Incumbent Jerry Schulte and Collin Steenbergen are the two candidates for the two seats. Debbie Malzner currently holds the seat coming open.

Clarksburg C-2 candidates - Incumbent Brandon Klein and Chrissy Williams. Tabetha James currently holds the seat coming open.

Latham Moniteau R-5 candidates - Incumbent James Bonecutter and incumbent Shawn Higgins are the only candidates for the two seats up for election.

Tipton R-6 candidates - Kent Fischer and Aaron Diggs are the two candidates for the two seats up for election. The seats coming open are currently held by Joe Huhmann and Joe Hagerman.

Prairie Home Cooper R-5 candidates - Incumbent Rachel Lock, Peggy Ann Eichen and Amanda Cantrell. Board member Gary Burch is not running.

Jamestown C-1 candidates - Incumbent John McNay and Don Barbour.

City Council candidates

City of California - There are three seats up for election. Since no one filed for the seat coming up for election in Ward I, the position may be filled by write-in vote. The only Ward II candidate who filed is incumbent Brian Lawson. The only Ward III candidate who filed is incumbent Resa Dudley.

City of Tipton - There are two seats up for election. East Ward incumbent Mike Kelley and West Ward incumbent Charlie Hainen are the only candidates who filed.
