Officials in the Eldon R-1 School District have canceled classes for today.
"Due to district wide communication issues, there will be no school on Tuesday, December 7th," the district explained in a Facebook post.
Meanwhile, officials at Cole R-5 School District in Eugene sent a text message to patrons on Monday night that Eldon Career Center classes, where the Eugene district sends its career center students, are closed Tuesday because of the "internet and phone issues."
