Rocky Mount man suffers serious injuries in crash


A Rocky Mount man suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and struck a tree with his SUV early Tuesday afternoon.

David Holdt, 53, was westbound about 12:07 p.m. in a Chevrolet Trailblazer on Brendell Boulevard near White Dove Lane in Morgan County when he traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol crash report.

Holdt, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment of his injuries.
