California hosts Independence Day parade, fireworks

California Masonic Lodge No. 183 presented The Stand for America Independence Day parade at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

The lineup started on Smith Street and finished at the Moniteau County Fairgrounds.

Following the parade, a picnic was held at the Masonic Temple Gazebo. The festivities concluded with a fireworks show at dusk at Proctor Park.
