The California Fraternal Order of Eagles held its Halloween party Sunday, Oct. 30.

Among the festivities, the "Haunted House" was a new attraction this year, said organizer Lynette Thompson.

She said the event took about a day to prepare, with five committee members and auxiliary members assisting. She also said many local businesses pitched in with donations, including C&R Market, Cal's Thriftway, McDonalds, Sonic and Burgher Haus.
