Centertown lifted its boil order Monday after the state approved of a sample from its water system.
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources notified the village that samples submitted from the local water system were good. The community had been under a boil order as a precaution while a damaged water line was under repairs, not because of any confirmed contamination.
An order was issued Thursday after a contractor damaged the line during an excavation.
