A scooter crash injured a 53-year-old Versailles man Friday afternoon.
According to a Missouri Highway Patrol crash report, Duaine Riley was northbound on an Icebear scooter on Morgan County Route W near Marvin Cutoff about 2:50 p.m., when he got too close to the right edge of the road and began to skid, according to the report. the scooter went off the road and overturned.
Riley, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment of moderate injuries.
