An Illinois man was moderately injured Saturday in a crash in Morgan County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
James Courtney, 57, of Maryville, Illinois, was driving a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on Route W.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. near Old 5 Road, Courtney failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a road sign. He was ejected from the motorcycle.
The patrol indicated Courtney, who was not wearing a helmet, received moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
