Highway patrol Troop F reports three weekend crashes

A Waynesville man received minor injuries after he was ejected from his motorcycle Saturday afternoon in Miller County.

Leonardo Olter, 40, of Waynesville, was driving a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja southbound on Route U.

At approximately 2:35 p.m., at Route EE, Olter traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol crash report.

Olter, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle and received minor injuries. He was treated at the scene.

A Bland man was hospitalized with moderate injuries Saturday after crashing in Osage County.

Zachariah Bledsoe, 21, of Bland, was driving a 2007 Ford Fusion westbound on County Road 304 when he failed to stop at a stop sign, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol crash report.

At approximately 4:45 p.m., the vehicle slid across Missouri Route 89, struck a ditch and became airborne. It landed and slid before coming to a rest.

Bledsoe was not wearing a seatbelt and received moderate injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

An early Sunday morning crash left two hospitalized in Morgan County.

Bryce Martin, 18, of Fortuna, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet 2500 northbound on Missouri Route 5 with Joanna Hillman, 19, of Versailles, as a passenger.

Shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday, north of Route HH, the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, vaulted over a driveway and overturned, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol crash report.

Martin and Hillman were not wearing seatbelts, and Martin received serious injuries while Hillman received minor injuries. Both were transported by MidMO Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
