Holy Kids met at Scrivner Road Conservation Area

Those participating in the jam session at the Covered Bridge Market outside of Russellville on Saturday were Frank Proctor, Ruth Hohman, Steve Leffert ,Lisa Kemna, Bill Stahl, Jim Shelton, Connie Hohman, Mike Fraiser, Tim Van Dorn, Bill and Barbara Jenkins, Chelsea and Lydia Cotton and Curtis and Marsha Wyss.

Wednesday morning, July 12, Janet Ruse, Shirley Scrivner, Hazel Rea, Mary Messer, Linda Amick, Joy Kiesling, Rita Casten, Betty Browner and Vonnie Strobel had breakfast together in Russellville.

Hazel Rea reported that the Holy Kids met Monday evening, July 10 at the Scrivner Road Conservation Area. Seven children and five adults attended. The evening started with a picnic lunch. Each of the children caught a fish. The next meeting will be a work swimming day on July 29.

Saturday, Jerry Koestner, Johanna, Devin and Jane Jones attend this Scrivner family reunion at the Clung Park in Jefferson City. Those attending Sunday evening supper at Jane Jones were David and Diane Ott, Crystal and Willie Wolters and Perry and Susie Gorrell.

Corticelli Baptist Church

Corticelli Baptist Church had a Sunday school attendance of 45.

A birthday offering was given by Marie Brown.

Those in the praise and worship group were Debbie Schroer, Erin Schroer and Billi Galliher. Special music was a vocal duet by Erin Schroer and Debbie Schroer, accompanied by Debbie on the guitar.

Sunday evening Vacation Bible School started and will continue all week in the evenings.

Mount Olive Baptist Church

Mount Olive Baptist Church had a Sunday school attendance of 50 and an attendance of 78 at the morning worship service.

Don Kennedy gave the opening, Pat Jobe, Olivia Windsor and Claire Eickoff led the singing.

Special music was a flute solo by Georgia Ehrhardt.

Bro. Paul Young brought the morning message.

Vacation Bible School had been the past week. Next Sunday following the morning church service will be a wedding shower for Caleb Nichols and Allyson Knight.

Enon Baptist Church

Following Sunday school at the Enon Baptist Church, the morning message was brought by Pastor Aaron Roberts. Dee Ellen Maher played the piano and Roxanne Duncan led the singing.
