Sweet Springs bikers seriously injured in crash

Two Sweet Springs motorcyclists were injured in two Morgan County crashes Sunday afternoon.

Terry D. Zimmerschied, 55, and Allen F. Hall, 57, were both driving south on Route W, just south of Marvin Cutoff around 1:42 p.m. Sunday.

As Zimmerschied and Hall entered a curve, both drivers lost control of their motorcycles and drove off the right side of the road.

Both Zimmerschied's 2004 Harley Davidson and Hall's 2008 Harley Davidson flipped over, ejecting the men from the motorcycles, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Neither man was wearing a helmet and both suffered serious injuries. They were taken by Mid MO EMS to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
