Boonville, Knob Noster and Odessa participate in California quad

After opening their season March 17 in Fulton, California Pintos and Lady Pintos track and field hosted the California Quad on Thursday against Knob Noster, Boonville and Odessa.

Emma Braby won the girls javelin with a personal record of 33.23 meters. She finished second place in both the girls shot put and discus throw.

Braby's sister, Abby, won the girls discus with a throw of 26.27 meters. She finished third place in the girls shot put.

Hailey Rademan won both the girls 200-meter and 400-meter dash, with times of 29.08 seconds and 1:03.83 respectively.

Kenzleigh Goans won the girls 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:57.96. Goans also took second place in the girls 300-meter hurdles with a time of 56.07 seconds.

Camryn Wingate took second place in the girls 3,200-meter run with a time of 15:33.05. She finished third place in the girls 300-meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.90.

Isabelle Allen tied for second place in the girls pole vault with a high jump of 1.82 meters. She also took fifth place in the girls 100-meter hurdles with a time of 22.03 seconds.

Kierstyn Lawson took fourth place in the girls 100-meter dash with a time of 14.58 seconds and took fifth place in the girls long jump.

Alayna Butts won the girls pole vault with a time of 1.98 meters.

Lanie Holtsclaw finished second in the girls javelin with a throw of 28.09 meters.

Tayte Higgins took second place in the girls high jump with a jump of 1.42 meters.

Paige Morris took fourth place in the girls 300-meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.98.

Abbigail Stuedle took fifth place in the girls 800-meter dash with a time of 3:24.94.

Margaret Heimericks took fifth place in the girls shot put with a throw of 8 meters even.

The team of Tyler Oden, Tristan Balsley, Jackson Hensley and Ayden Bryant won the 4x100 meter relay for the Pintos with a time of 48.04 seconds.

The team of Damien Pace, Hayden Hern, Andrew Reed and Ian Miller placed fourth in the boys 4x800 meter relay with a time of 9:23.59.

Ayden Bryant won both the boys 100-meter dash with a time of 12.09 seconds and the boys long jump with a jump of 5.64 meters.

Walker Friedmeyer won the boys triple jump with a new personal best jump of 11.50 meters. Friedmeyer also tied for third place in the boys high jump with a jump of 1.57 meters.

Griffin Booth finished in fourth place in both the boys shot put and the boys discus. Booth threw for 29.19 meters in the discus and 12 meters in the shot put.

Jackson Hensley tied for first place in the boys high jump with a jump of 1.62 meters.

Peter Dampf finished second place in the boys discus with a throw of 31.25 meters.

Ian Miller took second place in the boys 400-meter dash with a time of 55.27 seconds.

Miguel Contreras-Diaz tied for third place in the pole vault with a jump of 2.28 meters.

Jackson Barnard tied for third place in the pole vault with a jump of 2.28 meters.

Tyler Oden took fourth place long jump with a jump of 5.05 meters.

Hayden Hern finished fifth place in the 3200-meter hurdles with a time of 12:22.17.

Lance Clevenger finished fifth place in the boys 300-meter hurdles with a new personal best time 49.25 seconds.

Tristan Balsley took fifth place in the boys 110-meter hurdles with a time of 20.83 seconds.

California will be back in action on April 6 at the Eaton Relays.
