California Pintos golf sought to defend their state title May 15-16 at the Class 2 State Championships at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield.
The Pintos took home the state runner-up behind Summit Christian Academy with a combined team score of 662.
William Boyd finished second place in the individual competition out of 78 total golfers with a combined score of 143. Boyd had a tournament-high score of 68 in round one on May 15.
Jackson Hackett finished tied for 10th in individual competition with a combined score of 166.
Ayden Howard finished tied for 28th in individual competition with a combined score of 175.
Jackson Cassil finished 32nd in individual competition with a combined score of 178.
