The Bookworm Quilters sewing group of California presented the California Nutrition Center Board with a $966 check for a stackable washer and dryer Aug. 29 at the California Nutrition Center.
The quilters raised $1,100 for a quilt they created that was auctioned during a live auction at the Moniteau County Fair.
