After many months of delivery delays, the unit was positioned into its final spot on the California Elementary School gymnasium during a professional development day, when the bus lane was not needed. California R-I Assistant Superintendent Matt Abernathy said a crew with Lehmen Heating and Cooling will complete the unit's installation by hooking up ductwork and electrical connections later this spring.
As expected, the California R-I Board of Education extended its relationship with First Student for student transportation services.
