California Pintos wrestling hosted the California Tri on Feb. 7 against the Missouri Military Academy (MMA) and Stover. Senior night was also recognized, highlighting California wrestlers Alexis Anguiano, Kwynnon Duvall and Camryn Wingate.
Connor Farmer lost the 120-pound match against to Deonte Kerns, of MMA, by fall in 39 seconds.
Patrick Morrow won the 126-pound match by fall in 40 seconds over Dallas Grantz.
Jose Martinez lost the 132-pound match to Michael Pfeifer by an 8-1 desicion.
Jackson Barnard won the 144-pound match over Gabriel Tooman-Hamrock by fall in 21 seconds.
Tristan Balsley lost the 150-pound match by fall in five minutes and 34 seconds to Ryan Miles.
Kwynnon Duvall won the 165-pound match over Trae Griffiths by a 14-8 desicion.
Cody Schneider won the 175-pound match over Evan Corley by fall in two minutes and 52 seconds.
Alexis Anguiano won the 285-pound match by fall in one minute and 48 seconds over Nathaniel Summers.
The Pintos won the overall team match 39-21.
Against Stover, Talyn Balsley lost the 106-pound match to Alias Murray by fall in two minutes even.
Connor Farmer won the 120-pound match over Vincent Hedrick by fall in one minute and 16 seconds.
Patrick Morrow won the 126-pound match over Dustin Koeller by a 19-4 technical fall in five minutes and four seconds.
Daylen Yarnell lost the 138-pound match by fall in three minutes and 37 seconds to Logan Scott.
Jackson Barnard won the 144-pound match over Nicolas Newman by fall in four minutes and 40 seconds.
Tristan Balsley won the 150-pound match by a 20-4 technical fall in three minutes and 33 seconds.
The Pintos will go to Butler for the Class 1 District 2 Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
