Democratic presidential preference primary election this Saturday

The democratic presidential preference primary is this Saturday.

According to a Moniteau County Democratic Central Committee news release, the election will be held 8 a.m.-noon at its office, 317 S. Oak St. The election will be a hybrid, allowing registered Democrat voters to cast their ballot by mail or in person.

To vote in the election, voters must have been registered by Feb. 21 with the Missouri Secretary of State's Office. Anyone is able to vote as long as they're not registered as a Republican.

The presidential preference primary votes will be counted by March 25 in St. Louis, followed by an announcement March 28.
