4-H art exhibition results

The following are results from the 4-H exhibition at the Moniteau County Fair.

Clover Kids: The following projects earned a clover ribbon - Dane Fisher, wood rug; Milayna Meisenheimer, watering can, table decoration and photo paper; Caton Wilfton, coasters and boot jack; Sophia Gerlach, dream catcher; Callie Sanders, coasters, wind chime and Japanese cherry blossom tree; Karter Sanders, wind chime, coasters and Japanese cherry blossom tree; Colby Fosnow, button tree, Christmas ornament and bee bath.

Wildlife: Addison McQuaide earned first, second and third place for her pressed wildflowers, hummingbird feeder and butterfly waterer respectively. McQuaide's exhibit of pressed wildflowers was sent to the state fair.

Shooting sports: First place and submitted to the state fair, Julianna Gardner, arrow quiver; second place, Kayden Sanders, poster of shotgun reload.

Welding: First place, Cameron Schnieders for "I Love You;" second place, Cameron Combs for a poster of a livestock divider. Schnieders' exhibit was sent to the state fair.

Photography: First place - Rebekah Inglish, Friends in Field; second place - Madison McCord, River Sunset. Photography projects that were sent to the state fair were: Madison McCord, Happy Dog and River Sunset; Sonja Grotjan, Pensive Cate; Julianna Gardner, Magenta Flower; Rebekah Inglish, Friends in Field; Treagan Porter, Popping Up and Kent Riley, Bright as Day.

Health and Fitness: First place, Caleb Howard for a golf poster.

Animals: Second place - Marie Baepter, dog agility jump; third place - Haylee Kiesling, self-feeder. Both exhibits were submitted to the state fair.

Robotics: First place - Caleb Howard, Lego EV3; second place - Caleb Howard, Bow and arrow and Sophia Allen, Rover. All exhibits were submitted to the state fair.

Food One: Addison McQuaide for monster cookie, Jana Lawson for double chocolate chip brownies and confetti brownies. All exhibits were submitted to the state fair.

Food Two: Adler Koestner, super chocolate cookies and Kierstyn Lawson, double chocolate chip muffins. Both exhibits were submitted to the state fair.

Food Three: Madison McCord, peanut butter bar and Olivia Meisenhemier, cherry crisp bites. Both exhibits were submitted to the state fair.

Food Four: Ginna Meisenheimer, fire crackers. Meisenheimer's exhibit was submitted to the state fair.

Scrapbooking projects sent to the state fair: Lidia Pringer, beach fun page and sunny day page; Ginna Meisenheimer, impact and adventure.

Gardening: Addison McQuade for tomatoes and red potatoes. McQuade's exhibits were submitted to the state fair.

Beekeeping: Carsyn Petree for jar of honey. Petree's jar of honey was sent to the state fair.

Arts and Crafts: Both submissions by Rebekah Inglish, rattlesnake potter and a stepping stone were sent to the state fair.

Woodworking projects sent to the state fair: Braydon Hallford, cutting board; Adler Koestner, baseball bat; Emma Baytye, planter box; Dale Moore, levitating table; Rhett Fisher, clock; Wade Fisher, bench; Jackson Baer, shoe bench and Tyler Baer, end table with lamp.

Arts and Crafts that were sent to the state fair: Emma Heather, lighted snowman and sunflower wreath; Jaylyn Kiesling, clay snake; Haylee Kiesling, mason jar organizer; Madison McCord, pottery tray and pour painting; Hadley Milligan, clay lace platter; Addy Harris, string art sunflower; Raylyn Wilfong, canvas tree painting and softball wreath; Ginna Meisenheimer, tic tac toe board and memory necklace; Addison McQuaide, small welcome sign and large welcome sign; Owen Prenger, large "O" with pictures; Lidia Prenger, wooden welcome sign, large "L" with pictures and Grinch Christmas light; Allie Heather, wooden welcome sign and snowman Christmas light; Elly Clause, clay mushroom sculptures; Emily Burger, pour painting and Eleann Martin, leaf imprint plate.

Arts and Crafts that earned blue ribbons: Olivia Meisenheimer, watering can lawn ornament, 4-H necklace and frosted Christmas light; Tyler Baer, canvas painting, coasters and wind chime; Kayden Sanders, clay pot wind chime, cherry blossom canvas and clay pot coasters.

Outdoor Adventure sent to the state fair: Sophia Allen, Wildflower poster.

Quilting projects sent to the state fair: Carsyn Petree, John Deere quilt and Julianna Gardner, Bear Paw quilt.

Cakes sent to the state fair: Clara Baepler, bird nest cake; Ella Burger, nacchal cake; Sonya Grotjan, succulent cake; Julianna Gardner, cheesy mouse cake; Keeley Klund, duck in a tub cake and Madison McCord, camping cake.

Cakes earning blue ribbons: Kya Peck, cookie monster cake and Elly Clawson, cactus cake.
