Two hurt in Moniteau County wreck

Two people were hurt in a one vehicle crash Friday morning in Moniteau County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred around 10:50 a.m. in Fortuna on Moreau Street, just west of Morgan Street.

The driver was identified as Crystal Branch, 40, of Fortuna. Her passenger, Darrell King, 32, of Fortuna, was hanging out the driver's side door when the vehicle went off the left side of the road causing King to fall out of the vehicle and strike a utility pole. The vehicle then crossed Morgan Street and struck a house.

Branch was treated for minor injuries while King was treated for serious injuries. Neither were wearing a seat belt.

An Eldon woman was hurt in a one vehicle crash Friday night in Miller County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred at 8 p.m. on westbound U.S. 54, just west of the north outer road of 54.

Lucy Witten, 21, began to skid on the wet pavement, went off the right side of the road and struck a sign. She was wearing a seat belt and was treated for minor injuries.

A Richland man was hurt in a one vehicle crash Saturday morning in Camden County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred around 7:15 a.m. on Missouri 7 near Mill Creek Road.

William Hollaway, 67, was distracted and went off the right side of the road striking a ditch and a fence.

Hollaway was wearing a seat belt and was treated for moderate injuries.
