This holiday season, a new display can be enjoyed by all area residents in Proctor Park.
Around 40 California and Moniteau County businesses will decorate and light up spots in and around the park, adding to the city's Christmas spirit.
All displays will be ready to plug in starting Dec. 7, right after the California Style Christmas parade, and will remain lit each evening throughout the month of December for drive-thru viewing.
There is no charge for viewing the displays and the feature is not a fundraiser, but rather a way to give back to the community and offer a cheerful, colorful way to ring in the new season.
