Ambulance tax rate hearing on tap

A public hearing to set the 2019 tax rate for the Mid-Mo Ambulance district will be just before the Aug. 21 meeting. This motion was passed at the July 10 meeting.

With no further items to discuss during the meeting, the board was presented the run stats for June.

In Tipton, 53 calls were responded to with 37 transports. California had 82 calls with 47 transports, and Versailles had 196 calls with 126 transports. The total calls districtwide were 331 with 220 transports. This made a transport rate on patient contact calls of 73.2 percent.
