A Clarksburg man faces a charge of forgery for attempting to falsify a urinalysis test at the Moniteau County Jail.
Staff at the Moniteau County Jail conducted urinalysis tests May 23 on subjects who are ordered by the court to submit the tests for bond conditions. One subject, Jason D. Ashley, 42, of Clarksburg, brought in clean urine concealed on his person in order to attempt to falsify the test.
Ashley was placed on a 24-hour hold and charged with forgery, a class D felony. His bond was set at $10,000.
