A representative with Wallstreet Insurance out of Jefferson City met with the Mid-Mo Ambulance District at the Nov. 13 meeting to discuss quotes for 2020 health insurance for the district's employees.
Ronnie Staggs presented three options for the board to choose from. The option to work with United Healthcare for a $2,500 deductible for employees to have $500 in a flexible spending account of health reimbursement arrangement was approved by the board.
Run stats for the month of October were presented as follows: Tipton had 54 calls with 35 transports; California, 72 calls with 47 transports and Versailles with 180 calls and 103 transports. This brought the total calls districtwide to 306 calls with 185 transports for a transport rate on patient contact calls of 72.5 percent.
