Members of Shamrock 4-H help to pack Buddy Packs at Cargill Cares. This was one of the many acts of service the group has performed during the past year.

In the spirit of last week's 4-H Week, High Point's Shamrock 4-H shared what it has been up to during the past year.

The group put in new boards and planted flowers at the intersection of Route C and Missouri 87, took stuffed animals to the nursing homes in California and gave them to the residents, and took fruit and cookies to the residents of High Point during last year's holiday season and sang Christmas carols.

The group hosted a ham breakfast for the community, where guests were able to enjoy a breakfast of ham, eggs, biscuits and gravy and cinnamon rolls. The breakfast serves as a fundraiser for Shamrock 4-H.

The group also sponsors trash pick-up along a section of Route C, and helps to pack Buddy Packs at Cargill Cares.
