Two children from California were injured in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Moniteau County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred at 8:45 p.m. on Cedar Trail Road at Prairie Hill Road.

Trey Porter, 19, of California, was driving a utility vehicle west on Prairie Hill Road and approached the intersection with Cedar Trail Road. He slowed and stopped, then skidded as he approached the intersection. The vehicle overturned in the middle of the intersection and came to rest on its right side.

Porter had no reported injuries. The two girls, ages 11 and 16, were treated for minor injuries. Because they are juveniles, the patrol did not release their names.

None of those involved was wearing a safety device.
