Two people injured in Morgan County wreck

Two people were hurt Sunday morning when the vehicle they were in ran off a Morgan County road, struck a sign and hit a utility pole before overturning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the driver of the vehicle, Dakota L. Eden, 21, of Cole Camp, received moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Hospital in Sedalia following the 4:27 a.m. crash on Missouri 135 north of Raindrop Drive.

A passenger, 19-year-old Kayla A. Banks, of Moreau, sustained minor injuries and also was transported to Bothwell hospital. She was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.

A patrol arrest report accuses Eden of driving while intoxicated-alcohol, operating in a careless and imprudent manner and not wearing a seat belt.
