A woman from Versailles was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a one vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Morgan County.
Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred on Webb Road, a mile east of Locust Road, around 1:48 p.m.
Melinda Covey, 42, went off the left side of the road, struck a guard wire, a post and a tree stump before overturning. A patrol arrest report accuses her of DWI.
Covey and her passenger, Vanessa Johnson, 36, of Versailles, who were wearing their seat belts, were transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment of minor injuries.
