The Moniteau Library is hosting a social distancing Easter egg hunt to help the community celebrate Easter. Participate by creating an egg, placing it where it's visible to others and go see how many Easter eggs you can spot throughout the town.

Access to a popular language learning program is now available at the Moniteau County Library at no cost to all valid cardholders.

Access to Rosetta Stone is now available through the library. The software was made available to the Moniteau County Library for the next two years due to the generous donation of an anonymous patron. The library will also facilitate a workshop for the software next month.

Stop by the library or call 573-796-2642 to register for a Rosetta Stone workshop led by Kathy Burns, an ESL teacher with Lincoln University. The class will be held at the Moniteau County Library on Monday, Aug. 10. Class time will be determined at a later date based on the time preference of participants.

The workshop will be approximately two hours long and will cover topics such as creating a Rosetta Stone account and how to navigate through the five levels of learning. A laptop will be provided or participants may bring their own laptop, tablet or phone. An online Rosetta Stone tutorial is also available on the library's website at www.moniteaucountylibrary.org.
