2 incumbents, 1 new member elected to Prairie Home school board

Voters selected three members for the Prairie Home R-5 School District Board of Education in Tuesday's election.

Marsha Stewart, with 27.42 percent of the vote; Tammy Brandes, with 22.58 percent; and Nathan Alpers, with 19.35 percent, will be the school board's newest directors.

Brandes and Stewart return as incumbents, while Alpers will join as a new member. Each will serve a three-year term.

In total, the race saw 62 votes cast.
