Moniteau County natives graduate from Truman State

A pair of Moniteau County natives were among those who graduated from Truman State University following the spring semester.

Madelyn Elayne Jobe, of California, and Elizabeth Danielle Twehus, of Centertown, both earned degrees from Truman State. Jobe received a Master of Accountancy degree, while Twehus earned a Bachelor's degree, graduating summa cum laude. The summa cum laude distinction honors those who graduate with a grade point average above 3.9.

While degrees were awarded as normal, Truman State's commencement ceremony was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jobe, Twehus and the other members of their graduating class will be honored in a graduation ceremony on Aug. 1.
