Columbia man hurt in Lake accident

A Columbia man was injured Sunday afternoon on the Gravois Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks in Morgan County after he was ejected from the personal watercraft he was operating.

At about 1:20 p.m., Kahleb R. Adams, 21, struck a wave on a 2000 Polaris personal watercraft, and the impact threw Adams against the vessel and then out of it, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

Adams was wearing a life jacket, and sustained moderate injuries. He refused treatment at the scene.

Rocky Mount Fire and EMS assisted the Highway Patrol.
