Sean P. Boettcher, 41, of Jamestown, was seriously injured Friday afternoon when the 1999 Chevrolet Malibu he was driving went off the road and struck a tree.
The crash happened at about 1:05 p.m., westbound on Red Bird Road, east of Elliot School Road in Moniteau County.
Boettcher was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Mid-MO ambulance to SSM St. Mary's Hospital.
