Two women from Brumley were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Miller County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred around 8:56 a.m. on Route C, just south of Jackson Cemetery Road.
Abby Bowman, 31, was going north in the southbound lane and struck a vehicle driven by Melissa Carico, 50, head-on.
Both women were wearing seat belts, and both were transported to a Springfield hospital with serious injuries.
Bowman was later arrested for failure to maintain the right half of the road resulting in an accident, having no insurance, possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
