Adam Olson is arrested by Secret Service officers Tuesday after an object reportedly was fired by slingshot over the north fence at the White House.

Law enforcement officers arrested three people near Russellville in connection with methamphetamine possession Sunday.

During a narcotics investigation, Moniteau County sheriff's deputies and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force approached a home on Blank Road. As they arrived, they saw a man run toward the back of the house.

Officers arrested the man and two other people at the home.

During a consent search of the property, they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Officers arrested Ashley Hinton, 33, of Mary's Home, Charles Johnson, 56, of Russellville, and Wesley Mercer, 51 of Jefferson City. Each is charged with possession of a controlled substance. Deputies took all to the Moniteau County jail for processing.
