A man from Centertown was seriously hurt when he was hit by a vehicle Monday while working in a highway construction zone in Southwest Missouri.
Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the incident occurred at the intersection of Missouri 76 and Missouri 173 in Cape Fair in Stone County.
Cody Drennan, 24, was flagging in the construction zone when he was hit by a vehicle driven by Vera Coker, 73, of Cape Fair. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
