A Tipton woman was arrested for possession of illegal drugs following a traffic stop in Moniteau County.
According to Moniteau County Sheriff's Department reports, deputies were on routine patrol Thursday in the Clarksburg area when they conducted a traffic stop for a driving violation.
Deputies ran background checks on the two occupants in the vehicle and found both of them were on probation. They received consent to search the vehicle and allegedly located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside a backpack which was claimed by one of the occupants identified as Breanne Coffelt, 28, of Tipton.
