The Moniteau County Sheriff's Department recently arrested a Russellville woman for possession of illegal drugs.

Deputies went to a residence on Carney King Road on Feb. 11 to check the well-being of children living there, according to a news release from Moniteau County Sheriff Tony Wheatley.

Residents of the home granted deputies consent to search it, and deputies allegedly found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Authorities arrested Krysten Dobson, 28, for three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
