Morgan County warns of potential COVID-19 exposure at bowling alley, basketball game

The Morgan County Health Center is warning of potential community exposure to a positive coronavirus case.

Prior to being diagnosed with COVID-19, the person went to Westside Lanes in Laurie from Jan. 19-21, according to a Monday news release from the Health Center.

A second instance of potential community exposure occurred Jan. 22 at the Morgan County R-2 High School basketball game and courtwarming in Versailles.

The Health Center noted others who were at these locations on these dates are at low risk for contracting COVID-19 but advised that they monitor themselves for symptoms, noting there is no need for self-isolation or quarantine unless symptoms develop.

Symptoms of COVID-19 may include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
