The California Area Chamber of Commerce last week announced final details and winners in its recent Chamber-sponsored golf tournament.
The 17th-annual edition of the tournament took place early this month, pulling a record number of both teams, with 31, and participating hole sponsors, with 47 signed on.
Committee chairman Dwight Sanders reported the final total raised through the tournament was $5,585.94. Winners from the day are as follows:
First place team: Alan Chamber, Donnie McGuire and Gary Wells
Second place team: Joel Helland, Michael Desmond and Mill
Third place team: Robb Hartman, Ross Robertson and Drew Tucker
Last place team: Gary Baker, Melissa Baker and Julie Bird
Closest to the pin: Denny Hamilton
Longest putt: Cale Brown
50/50 drawing: Rhonda Mantel
John Overby won a driver through a Dixon raffle.
Chamber Executive Secretary Sandra Ratcliff, in an email to Chamber members, thanked everyone who made the event a success, whether by setting up and collecting fees, putting out hole sponsor signs, preparing and serving food and beverages, playing in the games, or cheering on participants.
