Russellville High School 'rocks through the ages' for Homecoming

Russellville High School celebrated Homecoming Oct. 4-8 with the theme "Rockin' Through the Ages."

Dress-up days included '50s (dress up as your favorite "Grease" character), '60s (tie-dye/hippie day), '80s (hair band/rock band day), '90s (grunge band day), and 2020s (blue and white day).

Homecoming events included a pep rally, Homecoming parade, football game and dance.

Homecoming Queen Madalyn Benne, daughter of Andrew and Nicole Benne, has been a member of Beta Club for four years, National Honor Society for three years and FFA for four years. She also participates in the A+ Program. After graduation, Madalyn plans to attend State Technical College to study business with a technical specialty in healthcare.

Elizabeth Mehmert, daughter of Chris and Larissa Mehmert, is a member of National Honor Society, FFA and the basketball team. After graduation, Elizabeth plans to attend State Technical College to pursue a degree in nursing.

Paige Randolph, daughter of Clay and Michelle Randolph, is a member of FFA, Beta, National Honor Society and the cross country team. After graduation, Paige plans to attend nursing school.

Camryn Paull, daughter of Chera and James McCoy and Francis Paull, has been a member of the basketball team for four years, A+ for four years and yearbook for one year. After graduation, Camryn plans to attend the University of Missouri- Columbia to study social work.

Hannah Mehmert, daughter of Chris and Larissa Mehmert, is a member of FFA, National Honor Society, Student Leadership and Beta. After graduation, Hannah plans to attend State Fair Community College.

Homecoming King Bryce Hale, son of Barry and Beth Hale, has been a member of the football team for four years, basketball for four years, track for four years and National Honor Society for one year. After graduation, Bryce plans to attend college, play football for his college team and pursue a degree in engineering.

Simon Hartman, son of Kenny and Debbie Hartman, has been a member of the cross country team for four years, track and field for four years, basketball for four years, football for one year, Beta for four years and National Honor Society for one year. He also serves as the student body president. After graduation, Simon plans to attend college and pursue a degree in chemical engineering.

Seth Miller, son of Allana Carlton, has been a member of National Honor Society for four years, Beta for one year and was a member of the football team for three years. After graduation, Seth plans to attend Moberly Area Community College and the University of Missouri to pursue a degree in law, finance or economics.

Ryan Peters, son of Jeremy and April Peters, is in the Building Trades program at Nichols Career Center. After graduation, Ryan plans to pursue a career in construction as a project manager. He is undecided on a college.

Arjay Wilson, son of Russell and Mary Wilson, has been a member of the cross country team since he was in seventh grade. He is also a member of the track and field team, National Honor Society and Boy Scouts where he recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. After graduation, Arjay plans to attend State Technical College where he has been accepted into the Utility Systems Technician two-year program.
